Every now and then, I like to "race" myself in various tasks. For example, to make unloading the dishwasher a little more "thrilling", I'll time myself from beginning to end just to test my fast-hands + china dishes.... Even changing laundry, unpacking groceries, and blow drying your hair can become a little more interesting when there's a challenge behind it (who cares if its something completely made up??)
This week seemed like each day was one of my self-induced "races". As I sit down to reflect on everything we accomplished, which was tremendous, I can't help but smile inside knowing that weeks like these are rare. As one project ends, and another begins, I am filled with joy and validation that this week, I made a difference.
iRock Race Rollings - (Self-induced week-of-crazy town!)...
In just 4 days, I helped 10 teachers deploy over 500 iPads to 500 students. I did 2 professional developments, one iRock parent orientation, AND participated in my first EdCamp "un-conference".
